Africa Afcon 2013 / Keshi : “Nothing is etched in stone”

Former coach of Togolese squad and the main coach of the Nigeria national team,Stephen Keshi has rejected to rule out the chance of including the striker Imoh Ezekiel and the midfielder Kalu Uche from hids final squad of players for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

During his 35 appearances for the Super Eagles, he has scored 5 goals and become the 2nd on the goal scorer’s charts in Turkey thanks to his 9 goals for Kasimpasa thia term.

Imoh who is yet to be capped at international level, is one of the most coveted youngsters in the Belgian Jupiler pro league.

Keshi has exclusively told supersport.com he has been supervising the progress of both players and revealed that they could still be on the Nigerian plane for the 2013 Afcon.

“Yes I am aware of their performance and right now, I have not shut the door on any player. Any player who is a Nigerian and who can help us will have a chance,” he said.

Keshi will release a list of foreign-based players that could potentially make his final squad for the tournament on December 25.

“Will there be surprises in the list? Well Nigerians should wait and see,” he concluded.
