Negari Terfa set a course record and lifetime best when he won the Xiamen International Marathon in China on Sunday
Terfa covered the distance in 2:07:32 seconds to better the course record by three seconds. His previous lifetime best was 2:07:41 run in Berlin four years ago.
20 year old Kenyan marathon debutant Paul Lonyangat was runner up finishing just 12 seconds behind Terfa.
