The runway for the first time since August at the British Athletics Glasgow International Match later this month, Yamile Aldama will look to retain her title and get 2013 off to do her possible best start when she takes off. A comfortable winner who is a woman and she is 40 years old in Glasgow last year with a jump of 14.03m, said she is looking forward to compete indoors and hopefully securing that strong start to her season.

“I really enjoy competing indoors and winning at Glasgow last year was a fantastic experience that set me up for my performance at the World Indoors” said Aldama, who jumped a season’s best 14.82m to take gold in Istanbul last March and overcame a shoulder injury to finish fifth at the Olympic Games in London in August.
