AFCON CAMEROON 2021 Afcon 2013: Zambia vs. Nigeria – Players to watch out for!

Nigeria plays Zambia the Champions of 2012 Afcon today Friday – 25th January, 2013 at the Mbombela Stadium – Nelspruit in South Africa at 3:00 pm GMT and to be officiated by Referee Ghead Grisha.

Zambian midfielder Chisamba Lungu (FC Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russian First Division) has been cleared to take part in tonight’s game; whether he will start on the pitch or on the bench remains to be seen.

A player who likes creating chances, if he does start, he will look to give Katongo, Mayuka, and Mbesuma as many opportunities as possible to to score for the defending champions. In Nigeria’s first game, Chelsea attacker Victor Moses didn’t play due to injury. He has now been cleared to play and will be tonight’s man to watch from Nigeria.

His hunger for dribbling past players at pace and scoring goals will be thrilling to watch, provided he is as fit as the Nigerian camp claims him to be. Along with Moses, we should look out for other attacking players like Musa, Emenike, and Uche, who are all threatening if given the time and space.

Nigeria’s proposed lineups:

Enyeama,Omeruo, Oboabona, Yobo, Elderson, Igiebor, Mikel, Ogude,Musa, Uche, Moses

Zambia’s proposed lineups:

Mweene,Kasonde, Sunzu, Himoonde, Musonda, Lungu, Chansa, Kalaba, Katongo, Mbesuma, Mayuka
