AFCON CAMEROON 2021 Afcon 2013: “Halilhodzic remains in post” – Raouraoua

The Algerian football is not far from a crisis. The elimination in the group stage on Saturday by Togo is still struggling to pass.

While the press is already asking the head coach Vahid Halilhodzic, the chairman of the FAF (Algerian Football Federation) did not intend it that way. Mohamemd Raouraoua said he will keep the Franco-Bosnian coach in position after the competition.

The news should not appeal to the press, rising against Halilhodzic. Saturday in the mixed zone after the meeting between Fennec and Hawks, one of them confided to reporter of Africa Top Sports: “It’s not possible. How can we have such a great team and fall in pools? Halilhodzic should go”, Said the Fellak striker.

He added: “Halilhodzic is 65,000 euros net per month. With all that, he cares nothing. He is authoritarian. He barricades the team, he prevents us from contacting the players, etc…”.

With the announcement of his confirmation, not sure if things work out between Halilhodzic and Algerian media. Will he hold out? Will the press have the last word? Wait and see….
