The 37-year-old soccer star joined the Arsenal club to work on his sporting fitness and did not commit to a long term move with the club.
“He was asked to come here to get fit. (It’s) purely for fitness. There’s no speculation about signing or anything,” Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger shared. “Maybe in June he has plans to play somewhere.”
