According to Citi Sports’ the Ghana Football Association is ready to keep Kwesi Appiah as Coach for the Ghanaian National Football team despite the failure to bring the trophy to Ghana.

The public had said a lot about the Coach which has kept Kwesi Appiah uncertain of his fate in the Black Stars team. An official from the GFA revealed; “We know of public disappointments due to the way in which we finished in the tournament but above all, we want to empower our own. It’s vital that we have faith in building local capacity. We know it’s going to be a journey, not a sprint,” the official continued.

Coach Kwesi Appiah who was appointed last year April, will however continue with more specialized courses in England to build him up in his own capacity
