Nigeria Champions of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations was all made possible by a young man named Sunday Mba central midfielder, who helped score a goal against Burkina Faso.
The young man who scored the goal for Nigeria needs to be celebrated, the finals of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations was played on a Sunday and his name is Sunday and Nigeria has waited 19 years to win the AFCON title and Sunday Mba’s jersey number is 19 as well.
Sunday Mba was born 28th November, 1984 in Abia the Eastern part of Nigeria.

He appeared first in the Nigerian National Football team (Super Eagles) in the year 2012 January where he scored a goal against Liberia. He was called to play for the Super Eagles upon selection of the 23-man-squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
In the finals against Ivory Coast he scored a goal and during the finals against Burkina Faso he scored the only goal in the match to hand Nigeria the title as the Africa Champions of the Nations Cup 2013.
