Manchester United winger Nani has been involved in a car crash with an unmarked police car, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed on Saturday.
The 26-year-old’s Bentley Continental crashed with the Police Ford Mondoe which was responding to an emergency call in Stockport.
The force said only minor damage was caused to the police car and Nani’s Bentley – a luxury car which costs up to £ 180 000 ($279 252).
A Greater Manchester Policewoman said on Saturday: “The passengers in the Police car received minor injuries and only minor damage was caused to both vehicles”.
She added: “The police driver has been suspended from driving duties in line with normal procedure.”
