Africa Premeira Liga: AFCON heat still on as Christian Atsu scores for Porto

The Ghanaian youngster Christian Atsu is still feeling the burning desire after the 2013 AFCON.

The 19th round of Portugal’s Primeira Liga saw two goals from Atsu and Jackson Martinez helping Porto get a win over Aveiro City.

On Friday the Ghanaian winger also scored to defeat Beira Mar 2 – 0 in the Portuguese top – flight

In the 34th minute, Porto broke the deadlock as Joao Moutinho’s pass found Atsu outside the box.

The Ghanaian youngster arrowed in from 25 yards in his first game back from national duty at the African Cup of Nations.

Beira Mar escaped the punishment over a handball in the box in the 42nd minute.

Porto continues to lead in the Primeira Liga after the victory.

Atsu has however been seen to gain a lot of experience from the just ended Africa Cup of Nations.
