Africa Celtic alerts European clubs not to bother about Ambrose

Liverpool is one of the clubs interested in Efe Ambrose and he has admitted that it would be an interesting move. But his coach Neil Lennon said they have no intention of losing the player in the summer. However the player has also revealed that playing in England has been his dream.

“Efe has been brilliant for us and there’s been a lot of interest in him. There is definite interest from top teams, not just in England but on the continent as well. There’s been nothing concrete so far, but I’ve been made aware of it, put it that way. I don’t think we will lose him in the summer, as he’s just in the door and there’s more he can add to his game. But he’s got a few admirers out there with his performances last season,” he said.

The player who did well at the 2013 AFCON held in South Africa had a great misfortune earning a red card  in his first match of the tournament.

“I am happy to be linked with a club like Liverpool. My dream is to play across the border. The English league is the best but I am happy at Celtic. I love the fans here and we were unlucky against Juventus,” he said.
