Football UK: Arsenal striker had ‘sex’ with politician

A London politician has sensationally claimed to have had relations with a high profile footballer.

A former London borough mayor has claimed to have ‘slept with’ a former Arsenal striker.

Brian Coleman, an independent councillor in Barnet, north London, wrote on his blog:

“For someone who has little interest in football, although I did attend Barnet v Port Vale at Underhill a couple of years ago, and once slept with an Arsenal striker, I am not fussed if Barnet survive in the Football League or bothered where they play.”

The revelation has been described as blasé, for it goes into no further detail.

Coleman is an openly gay politician and former Tory, who was previously chairman of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority.

Earlier this month former Leeds United player Robbie Rogers became one of the first footballers to have played in the UK to come out as gay, before ‘taking a break from the game.’
