Press Release: Statement on the health of John Paintsil

“John Paintsil was unfortunately hospitalized this morning suffering from exhaustion and dehydration.

He received medical treatment in a hospital in Accra this morning and he was released to return home to continue his recovery.

The last five days have wreaked emotional havoc on the family Paintsil, Richlove (his wife) and John in particular, and who are manifested in the unfortunate incident this morning.

Paintsil family is immensely grateful to the Government of Ghana and the Ghana Football Association for the great support they have given and continue to give to the family.

We ask the media to respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time. “
