Basket-ball NBA : Noah impressive even “tired”

Joakim Noah (211-F/C-85, college: Florida) had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 96-85 victory over the Brooklyn Nets in a National Basketball Association contest.

The Bulls (34-25) are second in the Eastern Conferences five-team Central Division, three games behind the Indiana Pacers (37-22). The Nets (34-26) are trailing the New York Knicks (35-20) by 3 games in the conferences five-team Atlantic Division.

Carlos Boozer scored 20 points and reserve Jimmy Butler added 13 for the Bulls, who held a 53-39 halftime advantage on their home court at United Center.

Brook Lopez tallied 22 points for the Nets and Deron Williams contributed 14 points.
