The 34th edition of the national championship fight traditional Niger ended Sunday with the title of national champion Alio Salaou won it.

With the elimination of defending champion Laminou Maidaba of Agadez, the first day of the championship, he was certain that at the end of the 10 days of “national saber” (champion title) will go to a new wrestler.

In addition to the sword, Salalou received $ 10 million CFA francs (15,244.9 euros).

They were 80 wrestlers from eight regions of Niger to take part in the 34th National Championship held at the traditional wrestling arena games Niamey.
