The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles will take place in a few days in the South of Morocco. More than a women’s orienting race, this event is a real adventure. The Gazelles are only allowed a map and a compass, and at each leg they must find six or seven markers while covering as little ground as possible.
All competitors will have to cope with extreme fatigue due to short nights and the daily ten hours of driving.
The Gazelles will also have to bear the heat of the day while being frequently stuck in the sand with the many punctures and unique hazards to off-road driving.
