Africa CAF Elections: The new president is a former!

As expected and not surprisingly, Issa Hayatou was re-elected on Sunday as the President of the CAF (Confederation of African Football) for a term of 4 years.

This is the end of the 35th General Assembly of CAF held this Sunday in Marrakech, Morocco.

This will be his seventh term as head of the governing body of African football. The Cameroonian was the only candidate for his own succession. His new mandate will end in 2017.
