Algeria AFCON U20/Sellas Tetteh: “We will prepare the final game seriously”

The ghana U-20 coach Sellas Tetteh is banking on continuity to bring the best out of his Black Satellites team going into the decisive final group game at the 2013 African U-20 Championship.

The Black Satellites after an opening loss to Egypt boosted their chances of reaching the last four with a 1-0 win against West African neighbours, Benin on Tuesday.

“I used the same team that played the first game against Egypt as l wanted continuity,” Sellas said.

“I believe in this team and knew they would ensure victory over Benin.”

Ghana need to avoid defeat against hosts, Algeria when both sides meet in Ain Temouchent on Friday in the final Group A match to advance to the semi-finals of the competition.

“This win is good for the morale of the team going into a crucial third match against hosts Algeria,” the Ghana coach said.

The eight-team finals will see the top four teams qualifying to represent Africa at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
