Basket-ball NBA: Nash injured again

If Kobe Bryant (fourth leading scorer in the league) finished the game against the Sacramento Kings (98-103), despite a foot pain, this was not the case for Steve Nash.

The leader of LA Lakers spent only 108 seconds at the Sleep Train Arena during the derby of California.

The Canadian born in Johannesburg (fourth best passer in the NBA) had just enough time to issue a pass to Pau Gasol (12 pts) and register 2pts on his only shot before leaving his teammates.

Injured at the back and hip, Nash returned to the locker room after experiencing a spike in the right thigh. But the Lakers staff speaks of a precautionary measure.

Steve Nash should be on the tartan Tuesday for the game against Dallas, a direct opponent for the plays-offs. In case of underperformance, the Lakers will find themselves at the 10th place.
