Africa UEFA fights against racism!

UEFA will have a heavy hand with racism. Now any player accused of racism in a competition organized by the European football body will scope a suspension of 10 games.

“We need new deterrent sanctions, that’s why we offer a player or official convicted of racism a ten game suspension minimum,” said the UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino.

“If the supporters of a club are guilty of acts of racism, says Infantino, the first penalty is to close the forums of the convicted part of the stadium. This will be followed by a closed session and a 50,000 Euros fine. “

These new regulations will come into force next season. The Milan AC midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng had left the field in January following a racist cries during the friendly match against Pro Patria, Italy.

The Ghanaian international never misses an opportunity to denounce racism in football as was the case in March during a meeting of football stars at the initiative of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, at the UN headquarters.

Didier Drogba and his African teammates of Galatasaray have not escaped these pseudo of fans at the Istanbul derby between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray (2-1). The Ivorian and his compatriot Eboue were booed heartily. They have been also shown bananas meaning that they were monkeys.

An attitude that frustrates Drogba: ‘Fenerbahce supporters have called us monkeys and have shown banana to me and Eboue. The problem is that they do not realize that Pierre Webo, who scored two goals is a monkey, he also has a black skin! ‘
