Africa OM / Sougou: “What matters to us is the win”

All the observers agree on one point: Olympique de Marseille plays badly, but deserves a place on the podium. The OM club occupies the second place in the League 1 standings. Without producing an attractive game, Marseille managed to position itself as dolphin of PSG thanks to its determination.

Yet there is really nothing to brag so much mediocrity in the game of that OM which is matched by the indifference it generates among fans.
At five days to the end of the championship, the Phoenicians prefer to stay on this path. For Sougou, critics upon the game do not interest him. The Senegalese believes that only a victory counts.

“A problem? I see no problem. We win our matches. Whether it’s 1-0 or 3-0, it is the same. I think the strikers are doing well now and create opportunities. This is the most important. We should also put things in context. We are a difficult period where for me the points are more important. It is better to win games 1-0 than a 4-4 draw even if the public takes more pleasure in seeing the show. But we are competitors and what matters to us is the win, “said the Senegalese striker.
