Euro 2020 Russia: A referee banned for life for having assaulted a player

This is definitely the world upside down. Most of the time, the opposite is the most visible. This time, the man in black is featured, but not in the best way. Musa Kadyrov, a Chechen-line referee was banned for life after an assault on a player in a game of the Russian championship.

The scene took place on Sunday at the meeting Amkar Perm-Terek when Kadyrov, visibly angry (for some unknown reason) dropped his flag and entered the lawn and inflicted blows to the Amkar defender, Ilya Krichmar.

“The referee gave the final whistle and I headed to our bench, when suddenly someone came from behind, pushed me on the floor and started to give me kicks and punches “said the 18-year-old player to reporters.

For his defense, Kadyrov said the player had insulted him during the game. A statement denied by Krichmar.

The Russian authorities have made their decision: Kadyrov will no more whistle!
