Africa Senegal / Jules Bocandé: One year already!

The world of Senegalese football and that of Africa in general remember this Tuesday the death, exactly one year ago, of the former Lion of Teranga, Jules Bocandé. The latter, born on 25 November 1958 in Ziguinchor and died May 7, 2012 in Metz following a surgery.

Bocandé has evolved particularly in the colors of Nice, Paris Saint-Germain and Lens in France. He has 73 caps for the Senegal for 20 goals scored.

Relatives of Jules Bocandé announced last week in Dakar, having chosen to organize the 1st to 9th June, a memorial designed to perpetuate the work of the former Lions captain died May 7, 2012, at the age of 53 years. The stars of African football such as Didier Drogba, Kolo and Yaya Toure, the Ayew brothers are announced.
