Like what, a good player is not necessarily a good coach. Gennaro Gattuso appointed coach of the Swiss club FC Sion in February has been sacked.

The Italian did not survive to the defeat of his team this weekend 5-0 against St. Gall. The coach of the U21, Michel Decastel, takes his place on the bench, the club said in a statement.

Gattuso himself had joined the club coming from AC Milan last summer. Under his command, the FC Sion took only ten points in eleven games.
