Caribbean Cycling: The Tour of the DRC finally starts on June 18!

Announced for the month of May, the first edition of the Cycling Tour of DR Congo will now take place from June 18 to 29. Organized with the support of the French Francis Ducreux, initiator of many tours on the continent, the competition will be attended by several African countries including Benin, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Cameroon, Rwanda, Congo Brazzaville, Belgium and France have confirmed their attendance.

Cyclists of the aforementioned countries with 18 local runners will compete in a distance of 900 km across the provinces of Kinshasa, Bas-Congo and Bandundu.

“We already have the new equipment for our Congolese dapper cyclists. We are comfortable because we already know where and how to accommodate all the participants who will be here and we have contracts with various international and local channels “, said Lewis Etape , a member of the organizing committee, on the site radio Okapi.
