It was on Twitter that Manu Imorou announced his departure Monday to Cotonou. The Clermont player will rejoin his teammates in selection of Benin in full preparation for the next 2014 World Cup qualifying matches.

Sunday Imorou tweeted: “Away for Benin tomorrow” and this morning: “it is sparked off for more than 6 hours of flight …”.

The preparation of the Squirrels began last Thursday with many problems. Coach Manuel Amoros had a violent altercation with a supporter for having rejected Razack Omotoyossi. Benin faces next Sunday Algeria.
