The Algerian international has experienced repeated injuries. The Fennec has been removed from the lawn for that fact. Therefore, the midfielder has not been called in selection because of his loss of fit.

For the Algerian media, Hassan Yebda has expressed his desire to return as soon as possible with the ball and find the Greens.
“I’m fine; I hope the curse of injury is behind me. I want to stay in Europe next season, because I’m still young. I hope to stay in Grenade where I spent the worst season of my career last year due to injuries”, said Yebda.
“The atmosphere of the national team, I really miss. I want to get back to the national team. I’m bored. In the meantime, I wish success to my friends in the World Cup 2014qualifying, “he has said.
Aged 29, the Algerian defensive midfielder has not been spared by injuries since his transfer from Naples to Grenade FC in 2011.
