But the former Barcelona defender who had a liver transplant and would like to continue to play does not close any door:
“I met with the athletic director of Monaco (…) everyone is worried over my health. My medical test went well. But realistically, I do not have a contract and I also have other possibilities. I went to the U.S. to see specialists, and hopefully I can play sports. Everything is fine physically, but on contracts there are many clauses. Everything depends on the AS Monaco, I give them my preference. If we I have to go to Monaco I will, but if it does not work, we’ll see another opportunity”
