This is a huge disappointment for all its fans: RC Lens (L2) has been informed on Tuesday that it was demoted to the National Championship DNCG (National Directorate of Management Control).

The financial policeman of the French football believes that it has not obtained the necessary visibility to their financial future.

Gervais Martel and Hafiz Mammadov, the Azerbaijani businessman, both owners-to-be of the club as of July 5, could not represent the RC Lens.

Suddenly, the artesian club immediately appealed the decision. It will be received again from July 4 by the DNCG.

The latter will hear the new shareholders who will present their financial security (capital increase of more than € 10 million, contribution to current account) and budget (about € 30 million).

The fans should rest assured that the case should go back well and Lens will join L2.
