Africa Nigeria : Four clubs suspended for having scored a total of 146 goals in two play-off matches

images (1)This is the story that is making the buzz in the Nigerian football world. Four clubs involved in two play-off matches that ended 79-0 and 67-0 respectively, a total of 146 goals, have been suspended in Nigeria.

The Plateau United Feeders ran over Akurba FC with 79- 0 while Police Machine FC humiliated Bubyaro FC 67-0.

Unacceptable scores for the head of the Nigerian Fooball Federation (NFF) Organising Committee, Muke Umeh,

“It is unacceptable – a scandal of huge proportions,”

“The teams are suspended indefinitely, pending further sanctions.”

“We will investigate this matter thoroughly and get to the bottom of it,” Umeh added.
