Mali, Senegal and Burkina Faso hosted the annual charity tour Giving Back 2013 that was held from 8 to 16 June 2013. The International Basketball players Yohann Sangare, Amagou Pape, Arthur Bouedo, and the NBA player Luc Mba A Moute delivered a match against malaria in Burkina Faso, for peace in Mali and childhood in Senegal.

Carl Ona Embo: “It is a joy to return to Africa thanks to the Giving Back association led by Boubacar Sy and Yohann Sangare. I could go back to basics and awareness in relation to malaria. It is the whole of Africa that is in the same problem and it’s nice to be with Malians, Senegalese, players of African countries united for the same cause. “
Yohann Sangare: “I know the effects of this disease. Able to come to Burkina and play a game against malaria to sensitize on this scourge that kills a lot of people in Africa, it seemed important. We are very happy to come to Burkina and I see that the public expected us. “
