Africa South Africa : Jimmy Tau retires

indexThe former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs player announced his retirement on his 33rd birthday at a press conference today reported kickoff.com.
“I know I served with loyalty and pride. I thank Kaizer’s Motaung and Dr Irvin Khoza, for allowing me to lead their teams,” Tau says
Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung was not happy with the way Tau responded to being released, speaking out at the time and again more recently that there was nothing sinister in their relationship
“We had a meeting with him and if he has a problem, then he can come to our offices not go to radio,” Motaung previously said. “If he has a problem, why is he not telling us? If he misunderstood anything, he knows where our offices are. He can come.”
The South African player formalized  his retirement from football today.
