Europe WTA Baku: Scheepers started in three sets

Chanelle+Scheepers-300x202Chanelle Scheepers made her opening match on Wednesday on the hard Tournament in Baku. The South African crossed the racket against Andrea Hlavackova. It took her three rounds to find his bearings after the clay at Bad Gastien and qualified for the second round.
Seeded No. 3, Scheepers loses her input service game and conceded the first set 6/3. Note the brilliant qualification to the quarterfinals of the Tunisian Ons Jabeur (18 years, global 204th) winner of the title holder Bojana Jovanovski (37th worldwide) 6/2, 7/5.
