Jessica-Ennis-Hill-GB-300x199The package list for Moscow World (August 10-18) Championships does not stop growing. It is the turn of Britain to lose one of its heads of gondola. Jessica Ennis Hill, Olympic champion in the heptathlon renounces to the competition.

Insufficiently delivered from an injury at the Achilles tendon, the British world champion in 2009 choses to withdraw from the podiums race in Moscow. An injury that parted sent away from the competitions, the winner of Laureus awards almost a year ago.

Vice world defending champion in the heptathlon, Jessica Ennis Hill had returned to competition at a meeting in Loughborough. She had participated in the javelin competition, before lining up on the 100-meter hurdles in the London stage of the Diamond League.

Besides Ennis Hill, the heptathlon will also be orphan of the world reigning champion, Tatyana Chernova, injured at a knee ligament in the Russian championships.
