Before the start of the championship, the NBA players are involved in various humanitarian efforts. As part of the initiative Nothing But Nets, a global outreach program for the fight against malaria, Stephen Curry, best long distance from the fireworks season, was in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) along with the son of the land Hashemme Thabeet, pivot Thunder of Ok City, earlier this month.

 

Both players have also taught some basics of the orange ball to the participants.
