boris-diaw-large-elise-150411-300x166The French team of basketball, reduced to 12, began a course punctuated by two friendly matches to continue its preparation for the Euro in Slovenia (4-22 September). The Blues show a strong desire to clear their first defeat in the match against Greece on Sunday in Strasbourg (67-79).

Boris Diaw acknowledges that “things have to be restored” in the Blues after the defeat against Greece. The Franco-Senegalese also wants to be confident before the Euro.

“We are confident even if there are still some adjustments to make. At the beginning of a competition as long as the Euro, we know that we will progress over the matches. Our team is competitive, interchangeable and now rests on three generations. However, this year will be different from previous ones where we were outsiders. So naturally, we have a statute to defend and hopefully stay on top, “said Boris Diaw, at a press conference.
