Ivory Coast can once again expect a medal in Moscow. Murielle Ahouré qualified for the final of the Women 200m at the World on Thursday. The world vice-champion dominated her 100m semifinal in 22s 46. She mastered her race to get ahead of the Bahamian Shaunae Miller.
Africa will have two representatives in the final since the Nigerian Blessing Okagbare also qualified. Aligned in the second half, the world vice-champion in the long jump came in second with 22s 39 behind one of the favorites in this race, the American Allyson Felix (22s30).
