Basket-ball Yaw Sakyi: Ghana Basketball to see a massive change after the leadership camp

yaw1The Chief executive Officer of Rite Multimedia, Yaw Sakyi Afari in an interview with Africatopsports disclosed that Ghana Basketball will see a massive change after the Ghana Basketball and Leadership camp. Rite multimedia has been at the fore front of basketball development in Ghana over the past 7 years.
The company’s main aim is to consistently create competitive basketball tournaments/ leagues in Ghana. Create a professional career avenue for young Ghanaian basketball talents (both men and women).  To enhance their  basketball game to attain higher commercial value and to make it more financially rewarding to players,  brand partners and/or investors and all other stakeholders.

To extend their basketball programmes to other African countries. No doubt this company has a hand in any basketball events in the country. The company has created brands like Junior Ball ; A basketball competition for Junior High Schools Sprite Ball ; A basketball competition for Senior High Schools in Ghana Community Dunks ; A basketball competition for the communities in Ghana UPAC ; A University, Polytechnics and Colleges basketball competition. With all these brands, there is no doubt that the company prides itself as a leader in basketball development in Ghana.

As if its not enough, the company now brings another opportunity to basketball players aged between 10-19 to interact and learn basketball fundamentals courtesy GHANA BASKETBALL AND LEADERSHIP CAMP. Some selected basketball players will be camped at Penfield School at Oyarifa, a suburb of accra for a week to learn the fundamentals of basketball. This camp will feature Coaches from Germany , USA and Ghana.
According to Yaw Sakyi, the program is not only expected to improve their basketball skills, but also equip them  with some useful leadership skills as young people, accomplished men and women will come and talk to these kids about how to become better businessmen and sportsmen in future. This has never happen before in the history of Ghana Basketball.
The 2013 Ghana Basketball and Leadership Camp will kick off on sunday 25th August 2013.
