actu_image_6761Another great performance for the Elephants of Ivory Coast in “their” Afrobasket. The host country has emerged on Saturday for its third clash against Egypt 69-62. After a great game in a hot atmosphere at the Palais des Sports in Abidjan.
The man of the meeting was on the losing side with a sparkling Assem Marei for the Pharaohs. A double-double (25 points and 19 rebounds), but not enough to lead his team to victory.
Opposite, Lamizana with 18 points tried to offer the upper hand to Côte d’Ivoire, with a success in times. The two teams have not shown great thing about 3-point shots. 4 over 20 for Egypt against 3 over 13 for Côte d’Ivoire.
With this victory, the Elephants finish first in their group ahead of Senegal, which defeated Algeria earlier. Egypt closes the move.
