The draw for the World Cup Under-17 was made on Monday in the United Arab Emirates, a country that will host the competition. Four African teams from the Afcon of the category last February in Morocco represent the continent.
The African champion, Côte d’Ivoire, is housed in Group B alongside Uruguay, New Zealand and Italy.
The Super Eaglets of Nigeria, runners-up of the continent will face in Group F Mexico, Iraq and Sweden.
In Group C, Morocco will have to defy Croatia, Panama and Uzbekistan.
Finally, Tunisia shares Group D with Venezuela, Russia and Japan. The Carthage Eaglets had finished third in the Afcon.
The competition was held from 17 October to 8 November in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Sharjah (cities chosen to host the tournament). And its mascot is a falcon named Shaqran.
