Ebusua Dwarf’s goal keeper Foli Adade has been called to replace Adams Kwarasey ahead of the 2014 World cup game against Zambia.
The Norway-based goalkeeper suffered a groin injury while playing for his club over the weekend. An MRI scan examination by the Black Stars medical team on Tuesday morning revealed the 24-year-old will not be available on Friday.
This give Foli Adade a chance to wear the Black Stars Jersey for the first time. He now balance the squad as he becomes the only local player to join the Black Stars ahead of the 2014 World cup qualify.
Foli now joins goalkeepers Fatau Dauda and Razak Braimah. Kwarasey could be the second player to be sidelined after Asamoah Gyan got injured on tuesday.
