The Congolese boxer Ilunga Makabu still spread his talent last Saturday at a boxing event in Gauteng in South Africa.
The Congolese retained his WBC “Silver” of heavy-lightweight champion. Opposed to the American Eric Fields, Ilunga Makabu Junior has again demonstrated his capabilities in hitting.
The American suffered from a setback by a knockout in the fifth round. Eric Fields found himself on the mat after receiving a left hook to the jaw.
The Congolese boxer could now be a serious contender for the Polish Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, the current WBC champion of the category.
