The Algerian junior cycling team is in Turkey to participate in the Tour of Sivas which began on Sept. 2 and runs until September 9. The presence of Algeria in Turkey is part of the preparations for the World Championships (22 -29 September) in Tuscany in Italy.
The Tour of Sivas (prologue + 4 stages) will be attended by 11 countries, including Algeria which will participate with six riders.
In preparation for the world championships in cycling, Algerian juniors have previously participated in four events organized in France in the areas of Vienne and Indre.
The Algerian Male cycling team then rally Algiers before taking over to Italy for the world championships in the discipline.
