Africa Ghana joins Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire and Egypt for the play-offs

blackstarsGhana now becomes the fourth africa country to qualify to the next stage of the 2014 World cup after scoring the Chipolopolo of Zambia 2-1.
Ghana topped the four-nation mini-league with 15 points from six games, their only setback being a 1-0 away loss to the Chipolopolo last June. Ghana now join Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire and Egypt for the next stage, six other countries will join them by close of the week to fight for the final slots.
According to FIFA rules, five africa countries will represent Africa in the World cup stage so there will be a play-off to select the last five countries who will represent the Africa continent in the World cup stage in brazil come 2014.
