Morocco has won three medals Wednesday (1 Gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze) in athletics during the 7th Francophone Games taking place in Nice (France). Hayat Lambarki won on the 400m hurdles and offers to Morocco the only gold medal of the day. Samir Jamaa won the silver on the 800m while his compatriot Nader Benhandel ranks third on the same distance.

Senegal obtained on Wednesday a new bronze medal with the athlete Fatou Faye who finished third in the 400-meter hurdles. The other Senegalese Ndiss Kaba Badji highly anticipated in the long jump, has not approached the podium. He finished seventh with 7m58.
