Hearts of Oak keeper Philemon McCarthy believe his side has everything to win this year’s Ghana league judging from what he has seen at training and their pre-season tour but admit they will need massive support from the fans.

“Well, they should expect victories from us but we will need their support to be able to deliver those victories,”McCarthy told Accraheartsofoak.com.” It is not going to be an easy season; everybody is fit, and we are coming from a good pre-season, and so we are fully concentrated and focused for the coming season.”What we need for our victories are the fans, because we have great fans and with their support, we can go all the way to win the ultimate.”

McCarthy made only three appearances for his side last season due to injury but is hoping to have an injury free-season in this year’s league. he believe Hearts of Oak is a big family and if this family come together this year, victory will be for the club, the former Black Stars keeper has pleaded to the supporters to rally behind the club in all their games.

Hearts will play their first league game against New Edubiase at Gyamfi Park, Bekwai.
