Former two-timeWBC super  featherweight Champion Azumah Nelson believes Ghana have a lot of boxing talent but the country lacks good coaches and facilities to push these talents to the top.

Azuma who once put the country’s name on a high position of World boxing chart believe after his retire in boxing, there has not been anyone to fill the vacuum he left in Ghana boxing not because of anything but lack of good coaches. ‘’The boxing coaches we have in Ghana have no training but they call themselves coaches, its like a teacher who hasn’t been to school before but in class teaching students, what do you think he will teach his students’’, Azuma asked.

The Superfeatherweight champion added that some of the boxers also have no respect for the leaders, when they win one award, they think that’s all, they get relaxed thinking that’s all. They have to aim high.
