Liberty Professionals couldn’t take all the three points in their first league game as they drew 1-1 with Wa AllStars at the Accra sports stadium. The scientific soccer lads played well in the first half creating good chances but were able to put only one goal in net courtesy Tamimu Muntari in the 8th minute of the game.
Liberty could not defend their goal as Wa Allstars player Samuel Boateng equalized for the Blues. Both sides pushed for a win but could not find the net in all their attempts. The game ended 1-1 at the Accra sports stadium. Liberty will travel to the Len Clay stadium to meet Ashanti Gold who had goalless draw in their first match against Kpando Hearts of Lions at Kpando.
Wa Allstars will also welcome New Edubiase to the Wa stadium on Sunday.
