Ghana Black Stars Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has finally secure a working permit in South Africa and this makes him stand a chance of fighting to earn a starting role in his new club Orlando Pirates.
The former Ashanti Gold goal stopper joined South African side Buccaneers in June but has not featured for the team because he didn’t have work-permit but Buccaneers coach Roger de Sa can finally smile because he can now feature the Black Stars keeper who have now been registered with the PSL side.
This makes Fatau available for selection for their Premier League home game against Polokwane City on later today. “Like I said to you guys, the problem was not with us or his former team, Ashantigold. We were just waiting for Safa to complete his paperwork before we can register him and now that has been done,” Pirates administrative manager Flyod Mbele said.
Buccaneers goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa must work extra hard because Fatau is yet to show him why he is number one in Ghana.
