Out through injury Tuesday night at halftime when his team met Real Madrid in the group stage of the Champions League, the Ivorian Didier Drogba had caused much concern among both leaders and supporters of the club as well as among supporters of his national team.

Finally everything is alright. Amid fears for a dislocated left shoulder after contact with Madrid defender Pepe, the former Chelsea striker only suffers from severe pain. He will find his team earlier than expected and may even play the 2014 World Cup playoffs game against Senegal with the Elephants in mid-October.

Drogba and Galatasaray had fallen heavily on their ground Tuesday night against Real Madrid. The Turkish club has collected a total of 6 goals and has scored one.
